A webhook sends an HTTP request to a URL you choose each time a selected event happens in Userback. Use it to build your own integrations or keep an internal system in sync. Webhooks are available on the Business Plus plan.

For payload formats and examples for every event, see the webhooks guide in the Developer Docs.

Set up a webhook

  1. Go to Feedback > Settings > Integrations.

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the list and click Connect on the Webhooks card.

  3. Enter the URL of the endpoint that should receive the webhook.

  4. Choose the events you want to receive.

  5. Click Save.

  6. Click Test to send a test payload, then check your endpoint received it.

Webhook events

  • Feedback Create: new feedback is submitted. The payload includes the full feedback: type, title, description, page URL, reporter, priority, category, rating, browser and device details, screenshot, video, attachments, comments, custom data, user data and console logs.

  • Feedback Assign: feedback is assigned. Includes the previous and new assignee.

  • Feedback Status Change: status changes. Includes the previous and new status.

  • Feedback Priority Change: priority changes. Includes the previous and new priority.

  • Feedback Vote: a vote is added or removed. Includes the previous and new vote count.

  • Feedback Delete: feedback is deleted.

  • Feedback Comment Create: a comment is added. Includes the comment and its author.

  • Feedback Comment Status Change: a comment's status changes.

Webhooks for surveys

Surveys have their own webhook, set up per survey. Open the survey, go to its Connect tab, and connect Webhook there.
