Portal Announcements let you share important updates, product changes, and key messages directly in your Ideas portal, or even in your widget if you've embedded the Announcements Tab. This helps keep your users informed and engaged with the latest developments.
š¢ Note: You must have an active Ideas Portal set up to use Announcements.
Create and Use Portal Announcements
Navigate to your Ideas Portal.
Go to Portal Settings and toggle on Announcements.
Go to your Announcements Tab and click 'New Announcement'.
Enter a title, message, image, video, tags and add a Call to Action (CTA) button.
Schedule the post or publish immediately
Click Publish.
Managing Announcements
You can easily edit or remove announcements whenever needed.
Navigate to the Announcements tab.
Click the ellipsis menu next to the announcement.
Select Edit to make changes or Delete to remove it.
Apply your updates and Publish, Save, or Schedule as needed.
Embedding Announcements in your Widget
Go to the Widget tab, then Design.
Under Components, toggle on Announcements.
Expand the Announcements card and select Embed.
