The Events panel lists everything a user did during a recording, in order, with the time each thing happened. Use it to skip straight to a click, a form entry, or a feedback submission instead of watching the whole replay.
Open the Events panel
In the replay player, click Events. The panel opens beside the replay and follows along as it plays. Click an event to jump to that moment.
Event types
Events include:
Click: the user clicked something. The entry names what was clicked, such as
divor a CSS class like.demo-grid.Rage Click: the user clicked the same spot several times quickly. Marked with a red lightning icon. This often means something looked clickable but didn't respond. See Rage Clicks.
Focus: the user moved into a field, such as a text box.
Input: the user typed into a field, for example Input text, Input email, or Input textarea. What's recorded follows your privacy rules.
Feedback Submit: the user submitted feedback. Marked with a pink icon.
Navigate: the user moved to another page. Marked with a green icon.
See the element behind an event
Click the arrow on an event to expand it. Element shows the exact part of the page involved, for example input[name="title"] or textarea[name="description"]. Share this with a developer so they can find the element in your code.
Ways to use it
Reproduce a bug: find the Feedback Submit event, then read back through the clicks and inputs before it.
Find frustration: scan for Rage Click entries and watch what happened right before each one.
Check a form: follow the Focus and Input events to see which fields users fill in and where they stop.
