Browse and Filter Session Replays

How to find a specific recording in Replays by date, user segment, user property, tag, or event.

Written by Jon

Every Full Session Replay recording is listed in Replays. Use the filters to narrow the list down to the sessions you care about, such as everyone on a trial plan who rage-clicked this week.

Open Replays

Click Replays in the left sidebar. If there are no recordings for the selected dates, you'll see "No full session replays in the last 7 days". If you haven't turned recording on yet, click Turn on Full Session Replay. See Set Up Full Session Replay.

Filter the list

Use the filters above the list. You can combine them.

  • Date range: show sessions from a time period, such as Last 7 days.

  • Segment: show sessions from users in a segment. See Users and Creating Segments.

  • User Property: show sessions from users with a property value, such as a plan or company.

  • Tag: show sessions you or your team have tagged.

  • Event: show sessions that include a type of event, such as a rage click.

Segment and User Property filters only work for identified users. See How to Identify Users.

Find one user's sessions

Open Users, select the person, and go to the Session tab to see every recording of them. See View a User's Profile.
