How to look up one user and see their feedback, survey answers, NPS score, and session recordings in one place.

Written by Jon

A user profile shows everything Userback knows about one identified person. Use it before replying to a customer, when following up on a low NPS score, or when you need to see what a user did before reporting a bug.

Open a profile

  • From Users: click Users in the left sidebar, search for the person, and select them.

  • From a segment: select the segment, go to its Users tab, and select the person.

  • From a survey response: open the survey's responses and click the respondent.

The profile opens in a panel showing the user's ID, name, and email.

Overview

  • Sentiment: the overall mood of this user's feedback.

  • NPS: their Net Promoter Score from your NPS surveys.

  • Last Session: the site, operating system, browser, and location from their latest visit. Click Watch to replay it.

  • Properties: any custom details you send about this user, such as plan or company. If none are sent, you'll see "No custom properties added". See User Properties and Custom Attributes Reference.
