Filter, Follow, and Set Due Dates on Feedback

How to follow a feedback item for updates, set a due date, and use Quick Filters to find what needs attention.

Follow a feedback item

Following a feedback item notifies you whenever something changes on it, a new comment, a reassignment, or a status change, even if you aren't the assignee. Open the item's ··· overflow menu and select Follow.

Set a due date

  1. Open the feedback item.

  2. Click the Due date field.

  3. Pick a quick option, Tomorrow, Saturday, Next week, or Monday, or choose Pick a date for anything else.

A due date is a plain deadline field on the item; it doesn't require any automation to set manually.

Quick Filters

The funnel icon in the toolbar opens the Quick Filters popover, covered from the view-switching angle in View and Organize Feedback (Board, List & Inbox Views). From the filtering side, it gives you three one-click presets:

  • Overdue

  • Requiring Action

  • My Unresolved

Click a preset to apply it, or pin one so it stays available as a shortcut across sessions.

Advanced Filters

The Quick Filters popover also has an Advanced Filters link. From the Advanced filters you can build a custom, multi-condition filter beyond the three presets. Building your own filter allows you to select from available feedback fields, segments and user properties.
