View and Organize Feedback (Board, List & Inbox Views)

How to switch between Board, List, and Inbox views in All Feedback, move between feedback type tabs, and use Quick Filters presets to cut through a long list.

Written by Jon

Every feedback item, regardless of type, lives in All Feedback. The tabs and views below control how much of it you see at once and how it's laid out, not what exists underneath it.

Tabs: All Feedback, Bugs, Tasks, Ideas, General, Designs

Across the top of the feedback screen, tabs split items by type: All Feedback, Bugs, Tasks, Ideas, General, and Designs.

Each tab shows a count of items in it and filters the same underlying data, so switching tabs never hides or loses anything.

The Ideas tab is the one exception to the board layout described below: it always renders as a table, with columns for Type, Source, Title & Description, Categories, Published on Portal, Votes, Status, and Assignee, and Date.

Ideas carry different fields than bugs or tasks (votes, portal-publish status), so a kanban board doesn't fit them the same way.

Switch views: Board, List, and Inbox

For every tab except Ideas, you can display feedback three ways. Open the Display Options popover from the toolbar and choose:

  • Board: a kanban layout with a column per status (for example Open, In Progress, Under Review, Resolved). Drag a card between columns to change its status.

  • List: a table, one row per item, with the same overflow menu and filters as Board view but easier to scan at volume.

  • Inbox: a three-pane layout built for working through feedback one item at a time, with a list, a center thread, and a details panel alongside it.

Note: resolving a feedback item can prompt a one-time "Feedback resolved 🎉" confirmation asking whether to send the reporter a CSAT survey.

This only shows up when the account's automation is set to ask each time. See Configure Your Feedback Settings for the full automation behavior; it isn't repeated in this collection's other articles.

Sort, order, and column display

The same Display Options popover also controls:

  • Sort by: Date created, Date updated, or Due date.

  • Order: Newest first or Oldest first.

  • Column toggles for List view, including quick filters, sentiment, priority, categories, and merged feedback.

Quick Filters presets

The funnel icon in the toolbar opens Quick Filters, a popover with three presets: Overdue, Requiring Action, and My Unresolved. Click a preset to apply it immediately. You can also pin a preset so it stays available as a shortcut.

Quick Filters is also where the Advanced Filters link lives, and where a full filter-building workflow and the Following control are covered in more depth. See Filter, Follow, and Set Due Dates on Feedback rather than duplicating that here.
