Bulk Actions on Feedback

How to update several feedback items at once, change their status, priority, category, or assignee, move them to another site, or merge, share, and delete them together.

Written by Jon

Working through feedback one item at a time is fine for a handful of items. For anything larger, checkbox multi-select on List or Inbox view opens a bulk action bar that applies one change to every selected item at once.

Select multiple items

Check the box on two or more feedback cards or rows, in either in List view or Inbox View. A bulk action bar appears once at least one item is selected.

Actions that apply immediately

These appear directly in the bulk action bar:

  • Status

  • Assignee

  • Priority

  • Category

  • Due Date

  • Merge Duplicates: opens the same Merge Feedback modal described in Categorize and Merge Duplicate Feedback.

  • Move: moves every selected item to a different site. See the Move modal note below.

  • Delete: opens a confirmation before removing the selected items.

What the actions do

These open a dedicated modal scoped to however many items you've selected:

  • Set due date: pick Clear due date, a quick option like Tomorrow or Next week, or Pick a date.

  • Change Category: choose a category from the same list used on a single item, with a checkbox to remove all existing categories from the selected items instead of adding one.

  • Change Priority: choose Urgent, High, Neutral, or Low.

  • Change Assignee: choose from your workspace members.

  • Change Status: a plain status picker (Open, In Progress, Under Review, Resolved). This is a separate control from Manage Status, which links out to Workflow settings when you're editing a single item's status field, not a bulk equivalent of it.

  • Move feedback: Select a new site, Status and Assignee for the selected feedback. Use this option if feedback was submitted to the wrong site or a different team needs to handle this feedback.
