When you connect Asana, feedback from your site becomes a task in the Asana project you choose, with its annotated screenshot or recording, console logs, and page and browser details attached. This is a 1-way integration: changes you make to the task in Asana stay in Asana.
Before you start
You need an Asana account with access to the workspace and project you want tasks created in.
Create the project in Asana first. Userback can only choose from projects that already exist.
Connect Asana
Go to Feedback > Settings > Integrations.
On the Asana card, click Connect.
Sign in to Asana and approve access.
Choose your Asana Workspace and Project, and a Default assignee if you want one.
Choose when feedback is sent: Manually, Automatically, or Automatically and Resolve in Userback. For the automatic options, pick which feedback types to include. See How Integrations Work in Userback for how each mode behaves.
Click Test. A test task appears in the project you chose. Check it, then delete it.
Send feedback to Asana manually
If you chose Manually, open a feedback item (or its notification in your Inbox), click Send to Asana, confirm the destination, and click Send.
Troubleshooting
My Asana project doesn't appear in the list
Check that the Asana account you authorized with is a member of that project. If you created the project after connecting, reopen the Asana settings in Feedback > Settings > Integrations so the list refreshes.
Does Asana sync status changes back to Userback?
No. Asana is a 1-way integration. If you need status and comments to sync both ways, Jira, ClickUp and Linear support 2-way sync.
Tasks stopped appearing in Asana
Go to Workspace Settings > Connected Apps and reconnect Asana if the connection has expired. Then check Workspace Settings > Integration Log, filtered by Asana, for the error on any failed request.
