Basecamp is a simple-to-use and effective project management platform. With Userback with Basecamp connected, we send annotated screenshots and comments to your Basecamp to-do lists every time a bug report or feedback is created with Userback.
Userback supports both Basecamp 2 and Basecamp 3, allowing you to centralize your feedback, and keep designers, developers and project managers on the same page.
1. Connect Userback to Basecamp
Open Integrations inside your project settings, Find Basecamp in the list of integrations, Select Connect from the menu to the right, and then follow the prompts to authorize Userback & Basecamp.
2. Configure your integration settings
2a. Configure your integration settings for Basecamp. Choose the Account, Project, and To-Do List in Basecamp.
2b. Choose whether you'd like feedback to be submitted manually or if it should be sent automatically to Basecamp; you can filter it by Feedback type too!
3. Test your integration
Lastly, use the Test option to send dummy Feedback directly to Notion. Make sure it goes into the correct Project and List.
Once confirmed, congratulations, you're finished! 🎉
Difference between Basecamp 2 & 3
Once you start receiving feedback, and it is being sent to your Basecamp account, there are only minor differences between Basecamp 2 and Basecamp 3.
Will update your project and notify you of new feedback with the latest project updates, Discussions and the To-do list. Click through to the feedback to view the full feedback including screenshots from the comments section.
Will update the to-do list and the timeline at the bottom of the project page. Click through to specific feedback to view screenshots and details, shown by notes and comments in Basecamp 3.
💡Tip: Each Userback project can be integrated into separate projects within Basecamp.
