Add a survey to your feedback confirmation email in Userback to gather insights like NPS or CSAT. This boosts engagement, shows users their opinions matter, and helps improve continuously. Follow these steps to set it up.
Step 1: Create a Survey
Create and edit a survey by following the steps outlined in this support article: Create and Edit a Survey. For this situation, we recommend using an NPS or CSAT-style survey.
💡Don't forget to save and activate your survey before moving on to the next step.
Step 2: Get the Survey Share Link
1. Navigate to the Survey Overview Page
2. Locate the ellipsis menu (three dots) near the 'Activated' button.
3. Select ‘Share’ and copy the generated share link (this will be added to the Reporter notification email).
Step 3: Add the Survey Link to the Feedback Confirmation Email
1. Navigate to the project settings for the relevant Feedback Widget project.
2. In the Automation settings, find the ‘Reporter Notification’ section
3. Add the copied survey link to the Reporter Notification email template. You can include a call-to-action text such as "Please take our survey" or "Share your feedback" and use markdown syntax to link the survey.
4. Save your changes to ensure the survey link is included in the feedback confirmation emails sent to users.
💡Tip: Don’t forget you can preview the email by clicking the ‘Preview’ tab.
