Connect Userback with GitLab

GitLab is a web-based Git repository that provides free open and private repositories, issue-following capabilities, and wikis. Once you connect Userback with GitLab, we send annotated screenshots as new issues in GitLab every time a bug report or feedback is created with Userback, streamlining UAT, QA and bug tracking.

1. Connect a Userback Project to a GitLab Project

Open Integrations inside your project settings, Find GitLab in the list of integrations, Select Connect from the menu to the right, and then follow the prompts to authorize Userback & GitLab.

2. Configure your integration settings

2a. Configure your integration settings for GitLab. Choose the Default Project in GitLab. Make sure the GitLab account you're linking has a Project setup prior to connecting to Userback.

2b. Choose whether you'd like feedback to be submitted manually or if it should be sent automatically to GitLab. Filter it by Feedback type too!

3. Test your integration

Lastly, use the Test option to send dummy Feedback directly to GitLab. Make sure it goes into the proper Project.

Once confirmed, congratulations, you're finished! 🎉
