An integration connects one Userback site to a tool your team already uses, so feedback shows up there with its screenshot, recording and technical details attached. You set up each integration once per site, and choose whether feedback is sent automatically or only when you send it.
Where integrations live
Go to Feedback > Settings > Integrations. Each tool has its own card with a Connect button. Integrations are set per site, so if you have several sites, connect each one separately. They can share the same connection to a tool.
Choose when feedback is sent
Every project management and support integration has three send modes:
Manually. Nothing is sent until someone on your team clicks Send to [tool] on a feedback item. Use this when you triage in Userback first and only escalate some items.
Automatically. Every new feedback item is sent as soon as it arrives, and stays open in Userback too. Use this when both teams work from their own tool.
Automatically and Resolve in Userback. Every new item is sent, then marked resolved in Userback. Use this when your team works entirely in the other tool and Userback is only for capture.
For the automatic modes, you can limit which feedback types are sent (for example, bugs only).
1-way and 2-way sync
Most integrations are 1-way: Userback creates the issue, task or card, and later changes in that tool stay there.
Jira, ClickUp and Linear support 2-way Smart Sync. Comments and status changes sync in both directions, so a developer closing an issue in Jira resolves the feedback in Userback, and a reply in Userback appears on the Jira issue. You choose which statuses and comments sync when you set it up.
What gets sent
Each item sent to a project management tool includes the feedback title and description, the annotated screenshot or video recording, and metadata such as the page, browser and device it was submitted from. Console logs and events are included. Network request data is not currently sent to integrations.
Test a connection
Every integration has a Test button. It creates a real test item in the tool you connected, in the destination you chose, to confirm Userback has permission to create it there. Delete the test item afterwards. If someone on your team asks where a "test feedback" item came from, it was created by whoever clicked Test during setup.
Manage your connections
Change a site's settings: go back to Feedback > Settings > Integrations, open the tool, and update its settings.
Reconnect, rename or delete a connection: go to Workspace Settings > Connected Apps. Reconnecting there reconnects every site that uses that connection.
See why something wasn't sent: go to Workspace Settings > Integration Log for every request Userback sent and the error that came back.
